Dickinson High School student Thomas Hall presents the results of his Space Cheeseballs experiment after its return from the International Space Station. This mixture tube experiment contained buttermilk and rennet, which were mixed by ISS crew member Karen Nyberg on-orbit. Ground truth models of the experiment had the milk curdling into cheese. The space unit showed no curdling.
This experiment was launched on the Orbital Sciences Corporation Cygnus vehicle's Demonstration flight to the ISS on September 18, 2013.
It was returned to Earth on the Russian Soyuz 35 vehicle on November 10, 2013.
