THIS is one breakdown truck you might not want to be towed by - as it can go from zero to its top speed of 179mph in SEVEN seconds. The dragster, nicknamed 'Mental Breakdown', features the cab of a 1965 Split Screen VW pick up truck on top of a purpose-built chassis. The hi-octane vehicle, which operates at up to 2,000 horsepower, is the work of car customisation guru Wayne Allman, who runs the Intergalactic Custom Shop in Stratford-upon-Avon, England.
