This weekend I present to you the full Drive & Sound test with the all new 2014/2015 SEAT Leon Cupra 280 delivering 280 hp and 350 Nm of torque through a 6-speed DSG and only the front wheels (supported by www.kuever.com). Already for a long time I was anticipating this test drive as I wanted to see how good those 280 hp go through the front wheels. First impression is that although this car has a limited slip diff is does not quite grip as hard like the front axle in the Astra OPC or Renault Megane RS. But as long as you don't overdo it in corners the electronic regulation works very well. The time to 100 km/h could have been better if the surface wasn't that slippery but its amazing how this thing shifts forward once grip is available. This Cupra also is equipped with the electronic chassis control giving you a wide range between "Comfort" and "Cupra". In June this year I might be even available to do more in depth acceleration tests with a Leon Cupra ST Performance Pack, so stay tuned! What's you opinion about the Leon Cupra?
