Sunway Taihulight named world's fastest supercomputer

Sunway Taihulight has been named the world's fastest supercomputer, with a processing speed exceeding 100 petaflops per second. The Chinese supercomputer has a peak processing speed of 125 petaflops per second, and averages 93 petaflops per second. Its calculation capacity in one minute equals 32 years of calculations by a billion people using calculators.
