Saturday night is the night of the week for members of the "59 Club", the motor-cyclists' own club at the Eton College Mission, Hackney. Their leader is "Father Bill", the Reverend William Shergold, who received a silver chalice from the "ton-up" boys for his church St. Mary of Eton. It was bought from donations by young enthusiasts all over the country, and was blessed during a special service.
