Named ‘Macadamia’ by the Australian Macadamia Society, this joey is the first of twelve babies born this season at Australia Zoo. Weighing just half a gram and being the size of a jelly bean when first born, Macadamia has spent the past seven months growing in his mum’s pouch and has started to venture onto her back to explore the world around him.
