A real-life caped crusader is stopped by police in the US after he is spotted in his black Lamborghini 'Batmobile' without having any number plates on the vehicle.
The police video shows one bunch of crime fighters pitted against another as a highway patrol pulled over a man dressed as Gotham City's finest in Maryland.
The comic book hero had committed the offence of not displaying any valid licence plates on his vehicle.
One officer can be heard saying, "he's got no tags but he's got Batman on it and he's dressed like Batman."
In the hilarious exchange with his colleagues the police officer quips, "you can send me Robin if you wish."
After pulling over, the Batman character steps out of his Lamborghini Gallardo and one officer is heard asking, "It's a nice car, Dude. You got a front tag there, Batman?"
"What's your name rather than Batman?"
The superhero replies, "Lenny."
After questioning the man police let him coninue on his way without a ticket because he had registration plates inside the car, but not before posing in photos with him.
The Batman look-alike was later identified as Lenny Robinson, a Baltimore businessman who dresses like Batman to entertain sick children at local hospitals.
Mr Robinson told police he had been on his way to Georgetown University Hospital.
Back in the police car, the officers reflected on the incident.
"It just proves the point, if you wait long enough you will see everything," one officer joked.
