The official trailer for THIS IS NOT A FILM, by Iranian filmmakers Jafar Panahi and Mojtaba Mirtahmasb, was released in Australia on November 10, 2011.
Jafar Panahi has been sentenced to six years in prison and is under house arrest as he waits for an answer to his appeal. His co-director Mirtahmasb has also been arrested.
This is Not a Film was smuggled from Iran to the Cannes Film Festival this year on a USB stick inside a cake. Panahi was awarded the Carrosse d'Or in his absence.
