"The definition of cultural heritage is expanded a lot over the previous 20 years. When we talk about cultural heritage, you may think about a monument or a historic building, like a cathedral or a church. However, cultural heritage now includes people’s houses, and intangible cultural heritage. Today everybody has their own personal heritage, their own personal stories of where they came from. Tourists are moved by stories and I’m sure that, like everyone else in the world, Kaunas has an important story to tell", thinks M.
