The outburst was part of an overall hot shooting night for Thompson as he finished 17-for-20 from the field for 44 points. He was particularly lethal in the third quarter, as he canned seven 3-pointers. With his teammates trying to feed him, he finally missed at the 3:55 mark of the third quarter.
