In 2012, choreographers, dancers and teachers Laurynas Žakevičius and Airida Gudaitė established Low Air Urban Dance Theatre. Low Air – is an innovation seeking dance theater of the Lithuanian younger generation. The theatre connects urban and contemporary dance elements. The Theatre’s exclusivity is characterized by the rising of new fusions and forms of the dance on the Lithuanian contemporary dance scene as a whole. In 2013, Laurynas and Airida received the most important theatre award in Lithuania – National Golden Stage Cross for their dance performance Home Trip.
