A new video released by the Islamist group Boko Haram on May 12 claims to show a number of the girls kidnapped by Boko Haram from the town of Chibok in Borno State in April. The video shows over 100 girls, all in hijab. Boko Haram's leader, Abubakar Shekau, said they would be held until imprisoned militants had been freed. Shekau also said the girls had converted to Islam.
