A passenger of a delayed Moscow-Antalya flight opened the plane's emergency exit hatch at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport on Sunday.
Passengers can be seen complaining about the heat and stuffiness in the aircraft cabin.
According to media reports, the plane's departure was delayed due to technical reasons before the passenger, later named as Vladimir Kuznetsov in local media, decided to open the aircraft's emergency exit to get some 'fresh air,' triggering the evacuation slide.
After a further delay, Aeroflot was forced to use another jet for the flight.
The airline admitted they plan to claim incurred losses from Kuznetsov in court. The amount will concern the subsequent flight delays, aircraft replacement, and replacement of the emergency exit hatch.
According to the Russian Investigative Committee, the department started pre-investigation check on the fact of unauthorised opening of the aircraft door.
