This is the story inspired by Baltic folklore and told through a series of time-lapse videos. Relax and let the feelings flow freely through your body as you watch this video. Hopefully you will enjoy it!!
The sky has always been home for many deities according to the belief of Lithuanian ancestors Balts. They loved the sky. But even gods have been struggling between each other and had many moods. Thus the sky is not always calm and constant. There are battles, treason, love dramas, sadness, hate, jealousy... - every emotion we get to feel in our lives. But even tho there are many different forces in cosmos everything is still in harmony. This is the work of the great ruler of the skies - Perkūnas (Baltic god of thunder) who brings justice, peace and harmony to the world.
Making the video was really hard work. I have spent hundreds of hours editing the footage and putting everything together frame by frame. Thus there are many feelings put in this work.
Special thanks to the author of the musical track Justina Tulaitė because of her talent, ideas and infinite patient working with me. I was a real ass sometimes. It was her music that resonated with my inner emotions and kept me motivated. "Pelkių Ugnys" is her nickname so please check her music out!

Time-lapses were shot with Nikon D7000 under Lithuanian sky. I used Tokina 11-16mm, Samyang 8mm and kit 18-55mm lenses.
I edited everything with Lightroom, LRTimelapse, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
