#VinceHill55 - In May 2017, the legendary VINCE HILL (http://www.vincehill.co.uk) celebrates his ’55th Anniversary’ as a solo singer and to mark this very special occasion there will be a variety of CD and download releases. Close to 200 of Vince’s original recordings from his illustrious solo career which began in 1962 are currently being digitally remastered and prepared for re-release. Details to be revealed soon!
2017 is also a special time for the #Coventry born singer as 50 Years ago this month he released his signature tune – the million seller “#Edelweiss” (taken from the #RichardRodgers and #OscarHammersteinII’s musical ‘#TheSoundOfMusic’). The hit single was recorded on 11 Jan 1967 at #AbbeyRoadStudios, arranged by #JohnnyArthey and produced by #BobBarratt.
