Russian contestant for the Miss USSR UK contest Anastasia Boil was crowned winner at the art deco Troxy building in East London on Saturday.
"It's so amazing. It's like, of course it's a big achievement for me, like to start my modelling career, like in the world, like international competition, of course it's very important," said the Russian student and model.
The Miss USSR UK contest is in its sixth year and aims to find the most attractive Eastern European woman from the former Soviet Union countries living in the UK.
