A statue to the late British singer Amy Winehouse was unveiled in Camden Town, north London, Sunday.
The unveiling was presided by the singer’s father and mother and by actress Barbara Windsor, who referred to Winehouse as a “superb bird” and one of the greatest artists Britain has ever seen.
The statue, which was unveiled on what would have been the singer’s 31st birthday, will stand at Stables Market, nearby where Winehouse used to live.
